New or Restart Unit - START HERE!
Are you a parent or teacher who would like to start a new PTA or PTSA chapter at your school? Are you a parent, principal, or teacher who knows there used to be an active PTA/PTSA unit but need help getting it back up and running? THIS IS THE PAGE FOR YOU!
We understand that it can be overwhelming to start a new unit or restart one but your County Council is here to support you. Your first step to either starting a new unit or reactivating one is to send us an email at [email protected]. From there we can arrange a meeting to help you make a plan to get your new PTA or PTSA unit up and running.
After your initial meeting with County Council, we have a training just for new or restarts! This training is only for individuals who are either starting a new unit or are restarting a unit. You must attend this training before your restart (reactivation) meeting is scheduled. The focus of this training is to help you locate resources and provide critical information on the basics of PTA. The training will be held the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00PM.
NOTE: This training is held the third Thursday of every month. If you cannot attend one during this time, please email us at [email protected] and we can schedule a training for you.
